A quick and easy recipe for crispy garlic parmesan wings cooked straight from frozen in the air fryer, delivering bold flavor and perfect texture in about 20 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Frozen chicken wings (medium-sized)
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter or olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Pinch of freshly ground black pepper
  • Optional: red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC) and let it warm up for about 5 minutes.
  2. Place frozen wings in a mixing bowl. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon melted butter or olive oil and toss to coat evenly.
  3. Arrange wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, avoiding overcrowding.
  4. Cook for 12 minutes at 400ยฐF (200ยฐC), flipping halfway at 6 minutes for even crisping.
  5. While wings cook, combine garlic powder, grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using in a bowl.
  6. When wings are done, transfer them back to the mixing bowl and immediately sprinkle the garlic parmesan mixture over the hot wings. Toss gently but thoroughly to coat.
  7. Serve warm immediately for best crispiness and flavor.

Notes

Preheat the air fryer to ensure crispiness. Cook wings in a single layer to avoid sogginess. Toss wings gently halfway through cooking. Season wings after cooking to prevent burning the cheese. For extra crispiness, air fry an additional 2-3 minutes or briefly broil. Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat in the air fryer at 350ยฐF for 5-7 minutes to maintain crispness.
